South Africa’s Dylan Frittelli has won the European Tour’s Shot of the Month award for June, following a fan vote.
Frittelli took everyone by surprise at the recent HNA Open de France when his eagle attempt from over 100 feet on the 6th hole ran all the way in.
Frittelli, who has recorded both of his European Tour wins in the last year, beat off competition from Jeppe Huldahl, Aaron Rai and Thomas Pieters to take the award for June. At the conclusion of the Twitter poll, 33% of fans had voted for Frittelli’s putt, narrowly edging out Pieters’ impressive hole-out in, also in France.
