Compleat Golfer’s playing editor Louis Oosthuizen claimed the European Tour Shot of the Month for February for his hole-out at the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth.
The eagle, from 115 yards out, ensured his place in the Sunday Super Six match play.
‘We had exactly the same number to the front as in the second round, so it was just a very quick look at the numbers and I was a lot more aggressive towards that pin,’ said Oosthuizen.
‘It was certainly nice to see it disappear.’

Almost half of the European Tour fans voted in favour of Oosthuizen’s effort, ahead of Fabrizio Zanotti (Maybank Championship) and Sergio Garcia (Dubai Desert Classic).
The 2010 Open champion is one of six South Africans in the field at this week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.
