2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman has expressed his delight and excitement at the revised golf schedule, with the Masters now held in November.
The new schedule was announced on Monday with an exciting set of events and competitions scheduled for the PGA Tour’s autumn season.
And, the South African is ready to start his preparation for the Augusta National showpiece, which will now be staged from 12-15 November.
‘Now that we have a date going forward, I think it is exciting for people, so hopefully we can get through this uncertain time and period with as little damage as possible,’ said Immelman in an interview with Golf Central.
Immelman touched on the difference players could face by playing the famous golf course in a different season where temperatures will be much cooler, but doesn’t expect much to change in how players will prepare for the event.
