Turkish Airlines hosted the World Golf Cup Amateur Series at Antalya Gloria Golf Resort from 4-7 December.
The event was attended by corporate and loyalty programme members as well as distinguished names in the business community.
Turkish Airlines, adding new dimensions to its mission of building bridges between countries, continents and cultures through its worldwide support for sports and sports organisations, has been organising Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup since its inception in 2013. This year, it again brings together over 7,000 players who compete against one another in more than 80 tournaments around the world.
The eighth edition of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, sponsored by Gloria Hotels & Resorts and Ruck & Maul, was held for the first time in 2013 in 12 different parts of the world, in more than 80 destinations in 61 other countries worldwide. The grand final of the tournament featured finalists from all these destinations.
Representing Zagreb/Croatia at the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Finals in Antalya, Ghislain Sahali secured their world champion position with 47 points, while Batzorig Bayarbileg was runner-up, and Delroy LEE came third. Peter Rhys Mckeever won the lowest gross score with a score of 75.
Following the Grand Finals, Turkish Airlines chief marketing officer Ahmet Olmuştur said: “Thank you again to all of our guests who made the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup a success here in Antalya.
