Tiger Woods announced that he will make his official PGA Tour return next week, when the 15-time Major champion hosts the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.
The 48-year-old last competed in an official PGA Tour event at the 2023 Masters tournament in April, withdrawing after finishing his second round at Augusta National due to a foot injury.
It led to a lengthy spell on the sidelines following surgery, but he made his return to play in December, competing in the Hero World Challenge and then at the PNC Championship.
Woods has struggled since 2021 after suffering severe leg injuries in a car crash and recently underwent ankle surgery after the Masters in April.
Genesis Invitational begins on February 15, and Woods will make his 15th appearance at Riviera, returning to the site of his PGA tour debut as a 16-year-old amateur.
In January, Woods confirmed his split with long-term sponsor Nike, fuelling speculation about what the Big Cat will be wearing at Riviera.
