Rory McIlroy has withdrawn from this week’s RBC Heritage.
The PGA Tour did not give a reason for the world No 3’s absence from the tournament that begins at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina, on Thursday.
The 33-year-old Northern Irishman missed the cut at last week’s Masters after carding a five-over 77 on Friday.
