10 Finishes in 2017 for Race to Dubai champion Tommy Fleetwood in 24 starts, more than anyone else on Tour. Despite not having one of his better seasons, Rory McIlroy finished top ten in 50 per cent of his 12 events.
355000 – Euros earned per start (12 events) by Race to Dubai runner-up Justin Rose. That works out at €1387 per shot.
2 – Only two players were under par on par threes, par fours and par fives in 2017: Tommy Fleetwood, Thomas Aiken.
22.4 – Brandon Stone had statistically the best performance of the 2017 season, beating the field’s average score by over 22 shots en route to winning the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek.
69.30 – European Tour Golfer of the Year Sergio Garcia’s scoring average in 2017, 0.35 shots betterthan next best (Dustin Johnson).
23 – Dean Burmester recorded 23 rounds of par or better in a row from the Alfred Dunhill Championship to the Tshwane Open, three more in a row than next best. The South African also had the longest run of under par rounds of the season during the same period – 21 on the bounce.
35 – Players averaged more than 300 yards from the tee in 2017, 21 more than in 2016 and the most in European Tour history.
35/41 – Jbe Kruger was responsible for both the longest streaks of consecutive fairways hit (35) and Greens in Regulation (41).
325 – Incredibly, James Morrison went 325 holes without a three putt at one stage last season, a longer streak of three-putt avoidance than any other player on Tour.
24.8 – George Coetzee led the European Tour in 2017 for birdie percentage, making gains at 24.8 per cent of his holes played last season.
30 – Paul Dunne holed out from off the green more than any other player in the season 2017 season, a total of 30 times.
8 – All eight Rolex Series events in 2017 were won by players now ranked inside the top 30 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
100 – Ian Poulter made the cut in all 11 of his European Tour appearances in the 2017 season.
