Jack Nicklaus believes Tiger Woods is capable of “doing anything he wants to do” but won’t break his Major record.
Woods has 15 Major titles, the most recent at the 2019 Masters, three fewer than Nicklaus.
“If he remained healthy I think he would’ve gotten it, but he didn’t remain healthy,” Nicklaus said on Golf Central when asked about the possibility of Woods breaking his record. “I feel bad for him.”
The 83-year-old then added of his record: “Oh, I think it will probably stand for a while.”
Nicklaus said he expected the 48-year-old Woods to play in – and dominate – the Senior Tour in a couple of years time.
“He’d be able to get in a cart, and he’ll absolutely kill everybody.”
