Gary Woodland, Scott Piercy and Doc Redman will all miss this week’s Honda Classic in South Florida after testing positive for Covid-19.
The trio become the latest batch of PGA Tour players withdrawing from an event, following Danny Willett’s positive case from last week. The Englishman missed out on the all-important PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass this past weekend.
Woodland, who won the US Open back in 2019, will be replaced by Sebastian Cappelen in the field, while DJ Trahan comes in for Piercy, and Kiradech Aphibarnrat replaces Redman.

‘The players will have the PGA Tour’s full support throughout their self-isolation period under CDC guidelines,’ read a statement by the PGA Tour.
