Billy Horschel will take on Victor Perez, while Scottie Scheffler squares off with Matt Kuchar in Sunday’s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play semifinals.
The four players survived a gruelling Saturday of knockout golf by progressing through the Round of 16 and Quarterfinal stages at Austin Country Club.
Horschel beat Kevin Streelman 3 & 1 before knocking out Tommy Fleetwood in a sudden death playoff. Perez was dominant throughout his performance, beating Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre 5 & 4 and Sergio Garcia 4 & 3.

Scheffler thumped Ian Poulter 5 & 4 early on Saturday before causing a big upset with a 3 & 1 victory over Jon Rahm. Similarly, Kuchar edged past Jordan Spieth with a 1 up victory before beating Brian Harman 2 & 1.
It was a valiant effort by South African duo Dylan Frittelli and Erik van Rooyen, who were both knocked out during the Round of 16 phase. Frittelli fell to a brilliant Fleetwood display, while Van Rooyen missed out against Rahm.
