Tiger Woods made a rare public appearance at a Florida soccer event this past weekend where he gave a heartfelt message to a young girl battling bone cancer.
The 10-year-old Luna Perrone shared a picture on Instagram of herself and Woods, who has been recovering from a severe car accident in recent months.
‘I got to have a quick chat with @tigerwoods this weekend when I bumped into him at the soccer fields! He told me to “stay strong” which has always been my goal! Stay strong physically and mentally and inspire others to do the same! No matter what you are going through YOU GOT THIS!!!’ she posted.
The 15-time Major winner appeared in good spirits in the picture as he continues his rehabilitation from the injuries sustained in the accident.
