Tiger Woods has successfully undergone follow-up surgery on the numerous leg injuries he suffered in Tuesday’s car accident in Los Angeles.
Woods was transferred from the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday to continue orthopaedic treatment.
His management team, however, posted a statement on his Twitter account on Saturday morning, stating Woods had a second procedure and is ‘in good spirits’.

‘Tiger and his family want to thank you for all the wonderful support and messages they have received over the past few days,’ read the statement.
The 15-time Major champion was involved in a single-car traffic collision on Tuesday morning, on his way to a shoot with GolfTV.
He had to be evacuated from his vehicle with paramedics and firefighters using the jaws-of-life method. He sustained multiple injuries to his left leg.
