Tiger Woods has returned home after spending the past three weeks in Los Angeles hospitals and will continue his recovery from a serious car accident.
Woods suffered moderate to critical injuries after a traffic collision on Tuesday, 23 February and required emergency surgery to his legs.
The 15-time Major winner released a social-media statement on Tuesday evening, expressing his gratitude for the immense support he received.

‘Happy to report that I’m back home and recovering. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks,’ Woods said on Twitter.
‘Thank you to the incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Centre and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre. You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough.
‘I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day.’
