South Korea’s Sung-jae Im became a first-time winner on the PGA Tour on Sunday when he claimed victory at the Honda Classic, writes ANDRE HUISAMEN.
An excellent final-round 66 was good enough to have him walk away as winner at the PGA National Golf Club by one shot at six under par after starting the final round in T5.
The 21-year-old managed four birdies on his opening five holes as he signalled his intentions to overnight leader Tommy Fleetwood.

But, the youngster had to battle a bit harder on the back nine when a couple of drop shots hindered his round as the competition was drawing to a close.
Two more birdies on the 15th and 17th settled matters in Florida to secure a famous victory ahead with of Canada’s Mackenzie Hughes, who closed out his week on five under par.
A ball-striking clinic.

Fleetwood looked set for a big final round on Sunday but he had a tough day out on the course to come home with one over par, finishing third in the process.
South Africa’s Charl Schwartzel would also have hoped for a better finish on Sunday after going two over par for the fourth round.
Schwartzel played some consistent golf throughout the week and remained in contention for the majority of the competition, starting the final round only three shots off the pace.
But, Sunday’s round proved one too many for him as he made four bogeys and a double-bogey to close out for the week on even par and in T17.
