Major American sports broadcaster Turner Sports will take up the responsibility of presenting Capital One’s The Match: Champions for Charity.
Golfing legends Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be joined by NFL stars Tom Brady and Peyton Manning for the relief-match where all money raised will be donated to organisations and communities in the USA severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The much-anticipated event will be held on Sunday 24 May and will be broadcast live on TNT, TBS, truTV and HLN, all of whom are channels on Turner Sports and the larger WarnerMedia company.
Together with WarnerMedia, the golfers and their two footballing icons, will pledge $10m in aid of the coronavirus-relief, while on the course a number of entertaining challenges will await the competitors.
‘We’re hopeful this event and platform will help raise meaningful funding for COVID-19 relief, while also providing a source of brief distraction and entertainment for all sports fans,’ said WarnerMedia Chairman Jeff Zucker.
Woods and Manning will partner-up to take on the team of Mickelson and Brady with the event to be held at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida.
In what will also be a first, players will wear mics during their rounds and challenges to create an interactive environment for spectators at home to enjoy.
This will be the second instalment of The Match, following Woods and Mickelson’s battle in Las Vegas in 2018, where the latter claimed victory in a playoff.
