Two of the biggest hitters in golf have continued their off-course ‘battle’ with Brooks Koepka posting a gif that has sent golf Twitter into a spiral.
DeChambeau and Koepka are set to be long-term members of the US Ryder Cup team and both are inside the world’s top 10. The pair had history long before the golf ‘scientist’ took on Koepka’s physique when the latter appeared nude in a photo shoot.
In 2019, Koepka took aim at DeChambeau’s pace of play during the Dubai Desert Classic and things continued on to the FedEx Cup playoffs. It led to DeChambeau, now a six-time PGA Tour winner, sounding out his rival’s caddie and saying that Koepka should ‘say it to my face’.
While things simmered from that point, the bad blood appears to have remained.
‘I don’t know if his genetics even make him look good, to be honest. In the Body Issue, he didn’t have any abs, to be honest. I got some abs,’ said DeChambeau.
Koepka responded with a simple statement about his Major count.
Now with Bryson adding a win to go with his new-found bulk, Koepka took to Twitter in an apparent barb.
