A six-year-old member at Bruntsfield Links scored his first hole-in-one and even complied with the age-old tradition of buying a round for the field.
Jack Dunn’s heroics at the 134-yard par 3 seventh have not gone unnoticed, with a number of media reports picking up his feat.
After holing out with his driver, Dunn said: ‘”It was fantastic. Hopefully, I will have many more.’
The club’s CEO Dougie Cleeton confirmed that the youngster had kept up with traditions.
‘Jack put the traditional bottle behind the bar – albeit Coke – for everyone to celebrate his success,’ said Cleeton.
Bruntsfield dates back to 1761 and is the fourth oldest club in the world.
