Twickenham, the home of English rugby, is set to become the flagship venue for a new UK golf tour.
The Stadium Golf Tour will give golfers the chance to play in some of the most iconic stadia in the world. It will take place throughout the summer and include five other stadia.
Twickenham will host upwards of 7,000 golfers from 8-11 June with the stadium being transformed into a nine-hole golf course.
The format will see the nine tee boxes situated on specially constructed platforms situated around the stadium bowl.
Golfers will then hit shots onto the related green situated on the pitch, with a self-scoring system from eagle to double-bogie, depending on how close to the hole they get.
Golfers will also receive access to “The Clubhouse” and booking options will offer access to golf simulators, a putting and chipping challenge, hitting platform and tours of the England changing rooms.
