A number of pros have taken to Twitter to express their disgust at the Official World Golf Ranking’s decision to return with the PGA Tour’s resumption at the Charles Schwab Challenge next week.
It’s been more than two months since the last official major tour event, but the PGA Tour is finally ready to resume with a revised schedule at Colonial Golf Course.
On Wednesday, the Official World Golf Ranking released a statement announcing its resumption with it.
The decision has, however, angered a lot of golfers outside the PGA Tour due to the fact that the European Tour will only restart on 29 July at the British Masters.
That means players from the European Tour will miss out on possible points, while PGA Tour members gain an advantage in the process.
Find this very disrespectful to all other tours around the world https://t.co/IDAjlNSQdP
