Louis Oosthuizen’s injury-affected season continues as news filtered through of his withdrawal from the Charles Schwab Challenge.
The Colonial Country Club was supposed to set up nicely for SA’s No 1… it was supposed to be the culmination of years of playing the track, together with winning trends and his steady form over the past few months.
Scrap all of that as Oosthuizen’s long-standing problems with his neck have forced him to withdraw at the 11th hour from this week’s event.
It is unclear how serious the latest setback could be, as the turnaround to next month’s US Open is a rapid one.
Kelly Kraft replaced Louis in the field.
