Collin Morikawa beat Justin Thomas in a thrilling playoff on Sunday to win the Workday Charity Open at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio.
Morikawa emphatically held his nerve to edge overnight leader Justin Thomas on the third playoff hole for his second PGA Tour triumph in what was only his 24th start as a pro.

The 23-year-old has been gaining decent momentum in recent weeks and was finally rewarded, having taking the lead on Thursday already.
But, a solid final-round 66, saw him finish on 19 under par for the weekend, alongside Thomas, who only managed a 69 to finish with.
After both players made par on back-to-back pars on the 18th hole, they moved to the par-4 10th hole where an excellent approach shot by Morikawa left him with a birdie attempt, while Thomas found himself stuck behind a tree after a wayward tee-shot.
Another clutch approach from @Collin_Morikawa.
He has 9 feet for birdie.

Morikawa tapped in for his par, while Thomas had an attempt for bogey as a result, handing Morikawa a famous victory.
South Africa’s MJ Daffue finished his week on eight under par and in T22 following a quite successful couple of days on the course – a result that would’ve given him a great deal of confidence heading forward.
