It took John Moore 63 years, but on Wednesday the 87-year-old completed the rare – if not impossible feat – of acing all four of Krugersdorp GC’s par 3s.
Moore’s incredible feat was brought to Compleat Golfer’s attention by his playing partner, Michael Ford, and we were only too happy to share the news.
Moore’s ace on the sixth hole helped him break his age with a gross 84. Not only is that an amazing achievement, Moore has now aced every par 3 on the course and this is his fifth to date.
‘He’s one of the true gentleman at our club and an absolute pleasure to play with. His achievements, while staggering, are richly deserved,’ Ford told Compleat Golfer of his playing partner.
