TaylorMade Driving Relief will be broadcast live on SuperSport on Sunday, bringing some much-needed action to the TV screens of South African golf fans.
The Covid-19 relief charity match at Seminole Golf Club will feature Rory McIlroy/Dustin Johnson take on Rickie Fowler/Matthew Wolff in a best-ball skins match, with the lowest score by each team on the hole winning the skin.
All four golfers have donated their time for the 18-hole skins competition: McIlroy/Johnson will play for the American Nurses Foundation and Fowler/Wolff will tee off in aid of the CDC Foundation.
‘I hope that we can provide some respite and entertainment for those tuning in across the globe. Dustin and I will have a lot of fun together and our games will fit well as we push to raise funds and awareness on May 17,’ said world No 1 Rory McIlroy.
As regarding safety measures, the PGA will follow all guidelines, executive orders and mandates issued by the state of Florida, Palm Beach County and the city of Juno Beach.
