One in and one out was the final tally for the South Africans in action at the Dell Technologies as Louis Oosthuizen snuck into the BMW Championship field.

Oosthuizen started the week in 69th place and looked like he was on track to move well towards the 30th ranking needed to tee it up at the finale at East Lake in two weeks.
A third-round 72 saw the one-time Major winner, still winless on US soil, drop out of the projected top 70, setting up a nervous final 18 holes at TPC Boston.
Out early, Oosthuizen birdied the 1st with gains at the 7th and 8th helping to offset his lone front-side bogey. Two more birdies followed at the 10th and 14th, the latter thanks to a 16-footer, had the South African comfortably inside the top 70 with Americans Ryan Moore, Stewart Cink, Nick Watney, Matt Kuchar and Kevin Streelman all going in reverse on Monday.
A bogey despite finding the centre of the 17th fairway did not help Oosthuizen’s cause before he missed the fairway off the tee on the par-five 18th. A two-putt from 34 feet helped Oosthuizen sign for a closing-round 68 and a place inside the projected top 70 but still faced an anxious wait for confirmation.
Birdies started to pour in from all corners of the course with Peter Uihlein, Brice Garnett and Keith Mitchell all busting the bubble but fortunately for South African interests, Oosthuizen had done enough.
Branden Grace finished his season in the US with an eight-foot putt for eagle and a 67 but his move of only three places left him in 88th place.
