A horrible seven over par during the third round has seen South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen drop out of contention at the Workday Charity Open at the Muirfield Golf Village.
Oosthuizen started Saturday in T10 but suffered a testing round of 79, which included six bogeys and two double-bogeys with the back-nine in particularly proving tough on the 37-year-old.

He will head into Sunday’s final round in T62 with Justin Thomas the leader on 16 under par and two-shots ahead of Viktor Hovland.
The leader after the first two round Collin Morikawa is a further stroke back on 13 under par after his round of 72.
South Africa’s MJ Daffue, however, shot a brilliant seven-under-par 65, which saw him into T8 and on nine under par.
