Four-time Major winner Brooks Koepka has withdrawn from this week’s highly anticipated PLAYERS Championship due to injury.
Koepka, who has had his fair share of injury concerns over the past 18 months, will once again be out of action with a knee problem.
‘Brooks strained his right knee and he is scheduled to further consult with doctors this week to receive a more extensive evaluation and outlook. We will be able to provide additional updates and information as we learn more,’ said Blake Smith, Koepka’s manager.

The 30-year-old has been in good form of late, winning the WasteManagement Phoenix Open in Arizona before securing a T2 at the WGC-Workday Championship two weeks ago.
Koepka will be replaced by India’s Anirban Lahiri in the star-studded 154-player field to tee off at TPC Sawgrass on Thursday.
