South Africa’s Garrick Higgo is still firmly in the hunt after a third round 67 at the Euram Bank Open in Ramsau, Austria.

The event, which is co-sanctioned by the Challenge Tour, will head into its final day of play on Saturday with Higgo in T9 and seven shots behind the leader Robin Sciot-Siegrist.

The 21-year-old opened his account with a brilliant eagle on the third hole on Friday and followed that up with five more birdies before, unfortunately, finishing with bogeys on the 16th and 18th.

Nonetheless, Higgo has a brilliant opportunity to launch an attack on the leaders on Saturday and cement himself a finish close to the summit of the leaderboard, while possibly going for the win.

England’s Richard Mansell will start the final round in second place on 13 under par and three shots behind Sciot-Siegrist, while Joel Stalter and Christopher Blomstrand are a further stroke back on 12 under par.
