In a poll conducted by a foreign website, Branden Graces’ 62 gathered the least amount of votes despite the South African going lower than anyone else in 157 years of Major golf.

Grace received 20% of the votes in a Golf365 poll which asked their readers to vote on the best round of the year. Justin Thomas’ 59 in Sony Open at the start of the season was voted into first place with 29% of the votes ahead of Hideki Matsuyama (61 to win WGC-Bridgestone) on 26% and Brooks Koepka’s final round 67 (25%) en route to his US Open win.
The South African’s 62 was lower than any player (Nicklaus, Palmer, Player, Woods etc) but received the lowest votes. Curious to say the least.
