South Africa’s highest ranked golfer, Branden Grace, has shared the letter written to him by Arnold Palmer after his winning run back in 2012.
‘This letter sums up what kind of a person the King was, and is definitely the best letter I’ve received,’ Grace posted on Twitter.
The letter from Palmer was in response to Grace winning the co-sanctioned Joburg Open and the Volvo Golf Champions the following week. The Volvo win came after a playoff triumph against compatriots and major winners Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.
