Excellent second rounds by South Africa’s Dylan Frittelli and Christiaan Bezuidenhout have left the pair firmly in contention ahead of moving day at the Wyndham Championship.
After opening his account with a steady 69 on Thursday, Frittelli looked as motivated and determined as ever by shooting a bogey-free second round of 65, which had him jump up the leaderboard by 39 places.

The 30-year-old rolled in five birdies throughout his display and will start the weekend’s swing of the event at Sedgefield Country Club on six under par and in T26.
That leaves him four shots behind the leaders after two rounds in North Carolina with a four-way tie at the top of the leaderboard between Tom Hope, Si Woo Kim, Talor Gooch and Billy Horschel.
Bezuidenhout, though, shot one of the lowest rounds of the day on Friday when he delivered a clinical six-under-par 64, which also rocketed him up the leaderboard.
The 26-year-old started on the back foot with a double-bogey on the first hole, but managed to respond immediately with six further birdies on the front nine before adding three more coming home.

Another drop shot on the 16th hole denied him an even lower round, but last year’s Andalucia Masters winner will be happy going into the third round on five under par.
Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel will, however, take no further part in the event after they missed the cut on Friday, which was set at three under par.
The pair both finished their second rounds on Friday on one under par.
