The opening two rounds of the 120th US Open will have golf fans glued to their TV screens in typical Major fashion with some exciting group pairings.
The best of the best from the golfing world will go head to head in the second Major of the year at a Winged Foot Golf Club, which promises to provide a massive test to the field in traditional US Open style.

Young Collin Morikawa, who won the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park last month, has been given another golden opportunity to prove his worth among the top golfers in the world and will tee off alongside 15-time Major winner Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas.

Current world No 1 and the 2020 FedEx Cup champion, Dustin Johnson, will be eager to take his game to the next level as he goes in search of only his second Major crown. Johnson has been paired in an exciting group of big-hitter Bryson DeChambeau and the ever-consistent Tony Finau, who celebrated his 31st birthday on Monday.

In another interesting and quite exciting pairing, 22-year-old Viktor Hovland has been grouped with Matthew Wolff and Rickie Fowler, with all three players yet to taste success at Major competitions.
Defending champion Gary Woodland and last year’s Open Championship winner, Shane Lowry, could make for a spectacle when they tee off with amateur Andy Ogletree on Thursday, while Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose, both previous winners at the event, will play alongside Adam Scott in a non-American pairing.
