There is a strong feeling that the rematch of the 2016 WGC-Dell Match Play final will be one-sided when Louis Oosthuizen goes in search of some revenge.

Jason Day crushed the South African 5 & 4 on that occasion as he marked his territory as the world’s best player and the feeling in the US is that the Australian will not only win this battle but the war itself.
The PGA Tour’s power rankings list Day as the man to beat in Austin, Texas citing the fact that he leads the tour in total driving and strokes gained: putting. The Australian, who won earlier the in the year at the Farmers Insurance Open is fourth in birdies-or-better percentage.
That is enough to drop Oosthuizen to 17th favourite.
Two ahead of Oosthuizen is compatriot Branden Grace. The 2017 Nedbank Golf Challenge winner, who has a single PGA Tour win to his name, is tipped at 15th despite not making it through pool play in the last two years. Grace’s 2018 form, which includes a top 10 at the Valspar Championship, is strong on the back of a good run with the putter. He is seventh in the key strokes gained: putting category.
PGA TOUR Power rankings top three:
- Jason Day
- Rory McIlroy
- Paul Casey
Dylan Frittelli is 29th out of 64 with Charl Schwartzel ranked 39th.
