Dustin Johnson has claimed his 21st victory on the PGA Tour after winning the Travelers Championship by one shot on Sunday.
With the victory Johnson has overcome a lengthy winless drought and it means his career-long season victory now stretches over 13 years.
The 2016 US Open champion closed out with a final-round 67, which included six birdies and three bogeys, to finish one shot ahead of countryman Kevn Streelman on 19 under par.
Johnson moved into contention at TPC River Highland on Saturday after a spectacular third-round 61 and on Sunday he continued with that good form to move to the summit of the leaderboard. He had an incredible par save on the 15th hole after having to play his second shot with his feet standing in the water – but an awkward second chip put him close to the hole to putt in for a solid four.

‘I’m definitely proud of myself for continuing the streak and I want to keep it going,’ Johnson said.
‘It was a long time between wins, though, and so hopefully it won’t be that long for the next one. It was lucky, but a still had to made a good up-and-down to make par.’
Canada’s Mackenzie Hughes, who opened with round of 60 on Thursday, shared a tie of third place on 17 under par with Will Gordan.
South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen concluded the event with a final-round 68 to finish on seven under par and in T46.
