Dustin Johnson is the 2020 FedEx Cup champion after winning the Tour Championship by three strokes at East Lake Golf Club on Monday.
Johnson took a five-shot lead into the final round of the event as he went in search of his maiden FedEx Cup crown.
The American once again displayed the grit and determination that has become synonymous with his game over the past six weeks to come out on top with a winning score of 21 under par.

A final-round 68 was a composed effort given the magnitude of the day and potential lurking challengers, but it was enough to finish three shots ahead of second-placed Xander Schauffele.

Johnson made three quick birdies to get his round up and running but was put back by consecutive bogeys on the 7th and 8th holes, respectively.
With the crown firmly in his hands it was down to see if the 36-year-old truly had the temperament to hold on for victory and did that in brilliant style by rolling in a putt on the 18th for birdie to seal the win.
Johnson and his wife jubilantly celebrated the hard work he put in over the course of a challenging season with him still struggling with his rhythm not so long ago.

2017 FedEx Cup champion Justin Thomas was quick out of the blocks as he aimed to cause an upset on Monday, but in the end he shot a four-under-par 66 to finish alongside Schauffele in T2, while Jon Rahm finished a further stroke back in fourth spot and on 17 under par for the event.
