Bryson DeChambeau claimed his eighth PGA Tour title this past Sunday when he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational by one stroke in Florida.
DeChambeau enjoyed a solid week at Bay Hill with his explosive hitting again becoming the centre of attention for the Tour.
But, the American had to battle hard to come out on top on Sunday and played with great composure to edge ahead of Lee Westwood, who held the overnight lead.
DeChambeau signed off with a one-under-par 71 to seal victory with a winning score of 11 under par. A bad start on the front nine had Westwood drop a shot, from which he failed to recover, settling for a round of one over.

Canadian Corey Conners kept pushing throughout his week and managed to finish the event in third place on eight under par, with Jordan Spieth, Richy Werenski and Andrew Putnam in T4.
South Africa’s Christiaan Bezuidenhout also made a valiant attempt in his final round and moved within touching distance of the leaders.
A bogey on 17 and a double-bogey on the 18th, however, hampered his chances of a top-five finish as he settled for seventh place.
