Collin Morikawa produced a composed final-round performance to secure victory at the WGC-Workday Championship this past Sunday.
A number of players arrived at the Concession Golf Club dressed in traditional ‘Sunday Red’ attire in support of Tiger Woods.
But, when it got down to business, Morikawa was dialled in and used his overnight lead to great advantage.
Despite Viktor Hovland making a valiant push throughout the final day’s play, Morikawa kept his cool to sign off with a three-under-par 69 to claim victory by three strokes.

Hovland had to settle for a share of second place after going five under for his round, alongside Brooks Koepka and Billy Horschel, who both only managed respective rounds of 70 on Sunday.
South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen also ended his week on a high with a final-round three-under-par to finish the event in T6 next to Webb Simpson and Rory McIlroy.
Oosthuizen was in contention from the start and played solid golf throughout the week to end on 12 under, six shots behind Morikawa.
