The European Tour looks set to get its season back up and running again with the British Masters on the 23rd of July.
Like most tours around the globe, the European Tour is busy with preparations, which will see players return to action but under strict health regulations and guidelines.
The Daily Telegraph indicates that this return will be held at Close House in Newcastle with Lee Westwood as host, where Sweden’s Marcus Kinhult will be looking to defend his title.
The event will also start a five week ‘summer festival of UK golf’ with four emergency €1 million events to follow the British Masters.
Harding worried about PGA regulations
Keith Pelley, the chief executive of the European Tour already stated that players from outside of the UK will need to conduct a 14-day quarantine period as advised by the UK government guidelines.
Similarly, the PGA Tour will also enforce a quarantine period on non American players for them to return to action in the USA.
