Branden Grace won his second PGA Tour crown on Sunday when he emphatically triumphed at the Puerto Rico Open in Florida.
While most of the golfing world was focused on the WGC-Workday Championship the past four days, the South African quietly fought for victory in another Tour event.
Just five weeks after losing his father to Covid-19, Grace produced a proper clutch finish to edge himself ahead on the leaderboard with an eagle on the 17th hole and a birdie on the 18th.
It concluded a spectacular final-round 66 to hand him a narrow one-shot win on 19 under par ahead of Jhonattan Vegas, who had to settle for second place in the end.

It was Grace’s first win on the Tour in almost five years and also his first in little over a year after winning the SA Open at Randpark Golf Club.
