The Trump Organisation is seeking recovery bailout for its three golf courses in Scotland and Ireland in order to pay the salaries of the employees.
The worldwide effect of the Covid-19 pandemic has brought a temporary close to many golf courses, including that of the American president Donald Trump.
The UK government announced a furlough scheme a few weeks ago to provide funds to employees, who are unable to receive regular salaries from their companies.
But, a stabilisation package that the president signed off with the American Congress in April states that any of his family members or organisations are prevented from benefitting from the program to a very large extend.
His organisation is being run by his two sons Eric and Donald Jnr as the president distances himself from any family operations, while holding office.

In a statement seen by USA Today, Eric said that the Trump Organisation is feeling the financial effect of the coronavirus just like most businesses around the world.
‘We have been forced by Government mandate to temporarily close our hospitality and leisure facilities, and are doing all that we can to retain and support our highly valued staff. The job retention plan created by the UK Government has nothing to do with the Trump Organization and does not benefit the business – it is solely about protecting people and their families who would otherwise be out of work.’
