Will Zalatoris enjoyed a successful weekend at Augusta National but his biggest praises probably came from actor Adam Sandler, after people began suggesting he looked like the caddie in ‘Happy Gilmore’.
Zalatoris became somewhat of an overnight sensation due the striking resemblance in appearance between him and the caddie to Happy Gilmore, played by Sandler, in the famous 1996 golf movie.

As memes began to swirl across the social channels the past few days, Sandler tweeted a message of good luck to Zalatoris ahead of Sunday’s final round, jokingly saying: ‘Mr Gilmore is watching you and very proud.’

After claiming an impressive second-place finish at the Masters, Zalatoris sarcastically responded to Sandler’s tweet by saying he is available to be of service to Mr Gilmore again.
‘If you’re ever in need of a caddie again let me know. I’ll be better this time. I’m always available for you, Mr. Gilmore,’ said the 24-year-old.
