A new putter and a new shaft in his M3 driver helped Rory McIlroy to his first win as a TaylorMade staffer.
McIlroy joined TaylorMade in May last year and while his work off the tee has been consistent, his putter has let him down on a number of occasions.
Sunday that all turned around after a meeting with Brad Faxon and a switch to the new TaylorMade TP Black Copper Soto prototype putter.
McIlroy led the field in Strokes Gained: Putting, picking up more than 2.5 strokes on the field, on average, per round en route to a famous win.
