Following on the success of the Spieth One, Under Armour has revealed the UA Spieth 2 golf shoe coming to SA in March.
“We’re in the second generation of my signature shoe, with hopefully a lot more to come,” says three-time Major winner Jordan Spieth.
“This one is an improvement over the Spieth One and I can’t wait to take it on tour with me this season”.
The Spieth 2 signature shoe includes the new technology, GORE-TEX® waterproof fabric which offers total protection from moisture and rain without sacrificing breathability to keep you dry and focused. Powerful TPU fibres woven into the upper, for lightweight support and total comfort, makes it lighter than Spieth 1 while offering more support and stability for the foot during the swing.
The upper shoe is made from Clarino microfibre leather which gives the shoe added durability and support, while an integrated lacing system means the shoe has a locked-in fit. The underfoot comfort is enhanced, thanks to a removable EVA footbed in the midsole, and the outsole is constructed from a lightweight TPU material. UA Rotational Resistance (RST) spikes provide for lockdown traction in every direction on all types of surfaces.
Under Armour says that Jordan’s “maniacal focus, fierce intelligence, courage to fight and infinite creativity” is embedded in every fibre of the Spieth 2, making it a true technical performance golf shoe – featuring best-in-class technologies to help athletes achieve their personal best.
The Spieth 2 retails at R3,999 is available from March 2018 at Under Armour Brand Houses in Menlyn, Mall of Africa, Sandton City, V&A Waterfront and selected Pro Shop stores.
