Fancourt and Pinnacle Point scooped the top awards in the 2017 World Golf Awards, which celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world-class courses and golf destinations.
The worldwide voting process began on 14 March and closed on 1 October, with votes cast by professionals working within the golf travel and tourism industry – senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and media professionals.
Fancourt Hotel and Country Club was named the country’s best golf hotel, edging out competition from, among others, Arabella Hotel and Spa, Conrad Pezula Resort and Spa and Erinvale Estate Hotel and Spa.

Pinnacle Point Golf Course was voted as the country’s best, ahead of the likes of Leopard Creek, De Zalze, and the Gary Player Country Club.
Fancourt and Pinnacle Point will go head-to-head with the winners of the other countries before the unveiling of the World Winners.
