World number one, Dustin Johnson, will be more than prepared for the elements at Royal Birkdale after his script for next week’s Major was unveiled.
Johnson’s best finish at The Open came back in 2011, when he and Phil Mickelson watched as Darren Clarke completed his fairytale win at Royal St George’s Golf Club in Kent.
This year Johnson arrives as the best player on the planet and has opted for a predominately light-gray and black color palette in his all adidas outfits.
