Branden Grace will play his first event on US soil as a member of the PGA Tour when he tees up at the Honda Classic this week, beginning a new chapter in his glittering career.
The 27-year-old last competed at the Qatar Masters four weeks ago, where he successfully defended his title with a two-stroke victory at Doha Golf Club.
This seven-time European Tour winner has spent the last four weeks preparing for his US season, which starts at PGA National this week. Big-name players such as Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler will compete, but Grace has proven that he belongs in that class.
The final credit to Grace’s name is that he clearly travels well and he has won championships in Europe, Asia and Africa. He heads into this week no worse than tied eighth in his last six starts worldwide.
The world number 10 has everything to play for, making him one of the favourites to succeed.
