Dahmen is aiming to complete a wire-to-wire victory at the site of his only PGA Tour victory in 2021.

With a victory Sunday, he would would get a two-year exemption after narrowly keeping his PGA Tour card last year.

Michael Thorbjornsen, the Stanford alum who earned a card through the PGA Tour University ranking, and Chan Kim were also tied for second.

The tournament is being held the same week as the RBC Heritage, a Signature Event in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
