Ryder Cup Team USA is one member away from complete after Davis Love III chose Rickie Fowler, JB Holmes, and Matt Kuchar as his captain’s picks on Monday.
‘It kept coming down to these three,’ said Love, while Fowler added: ‘I’m more excited about this Ryder Cup than past ones.’
The eight players who automatically qualified on points are Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, Jimmy Walker, Brooks Koepka, Brandt Snedeker and Zach Johnson. Love now has one more pick to make following the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake next week.
