Stewart Cink is on the verge of an eighth PGA Tour title after he extended his lead at the RBC Heritage to five strokes on Saturday.
The 47-year-old Cink broke the 36-hole course record at Harbour Town as he headed into moving day on 16 under par.
A more composed third round followed, however, but he managed to maintain his determination that saw him sign off with a two-under-par 69.
Cink will start Sunday’s final round five shots ahead of Collin Morikawa, who moved up to 13 under after Saturday’s action.

The California kid carded a four-under 67 to keep himself within touching distance for what promises to be an exciting final round at Hilton Head.
Emiliano Grillo is one shot behind Morikawa on 12 under par for the week, while Matt Wallace and Sungjae Im are tied for 4th on 11 under.
South Africa’s Christiaan Bezuidenhout also made massive strides up the leaderboard on Saturday when he shot a round of six-under-par 65.
The performance propelled Bezuidenhout up to nine under at the RBC Heritage where he will start Sunday’s final round in T10.
Dylan Frittelli signed off on four under par after his third round, while Branden Grace went two over for his round, concluding on three under for the week.
