Christiaan Bezuidenhout maintained his rise up the Official World Golf Rankings, following his seventh-place finish at this past weekend’s Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The South African enjoyed a good week at the Bay Hill Golf Club in Florida, continuing his consistent run of form.
Bezuidenhout took home $313,875 (R4,855,279.02) for his efforts, making it another hefty payout for the young talent. The 26-year-old also moved up to 34th in the world, the second-highest placing of his career to date.

Bezuidenhout had risen to 33rd after the Omega Dubai Desert Classic earlier this year but fell down to 37th following the WGC-Workday Championship at the Concession.
Branden Grace also continued his welcomed return to the top 100 with more gains on the OWGR to start the new week.
A difficult final round at Bay Hill this past Sunday rocked Grace’s progress at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he signed off in T26.
He did, however, climb eight more places up to 75th after his massive surge last week, following his victory at the Puerto Rico Open.
Grace received $69,285 (R1,072,504.09) in prize money and will be action at this week’s PLAYERS Championship, alongside Bezuidenhout and a few other South Africans.
