South Africans Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel have been grouped together for the opening two rounds of the US Open at Erin Hills.
The South African duo will peg it up alongside current Open champion Henrik Stenson at 13:47 in the afternoon. 20 minutes later Jason Day, Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy will get their rounds under way.
Martin Kaymer and Jordan Spieth will join world number one and defending champion Dustin Johnson on the 10th tee at 08:35.
Another highlight of the morning field is at 07:51, when Rafa Cabrera Bello, Thomas Pieters and Brooks Koepka are off the first, while Jon Rahm, Rickie Fowler and Hideki Matsuyama are off the 10th.
Oosthuizen’s best finish at the event was in 2015 when Chambers Bay hosted the event. Despite an opening 77, the 2010 Open champion finished one shot behind winner Jordan Spieth, after making six birdies in his closing seven holes around a course where the majority of the field struggled all week for touch.
Similarly, Schwartzel finished seventh that year – his best result at the US Open – after a closing 66 and two behind Oosthuizen’s tally of -4 for the tournament.
